Intel Corporation pours additional US$475 million into Vietnam Wednesday, 2021-01-27 16:59:38  Font Size:    Font Size:     |   NDO – The US-based Intel Corporation received a certificate to invest additional US$475 million in Intel Products Vietnam, an assembly and test manufacturing (ATM) unit in Ho Chi Minh City, also Intel’s largest ATM plant in the world. The additional investment will help Intel increase production of 5G products, Intel Core processors with Intel Hybrid technology and the 10th generation Intel Core processors. Thus, the total Intel investment in its plant at the Saigon Hi-Tech Park (SHTP) in Ho Chi Minh City has risen to over US$1.5 billion, becoming the largest investment pledge to SHTP and also the largest hi-tech investment from the US in Vietnam.
