Conversations, a series of webinars being organised as a part of The Hindu Group’s ongoing campaign ‘Tamil Nadu Smiling’, will host its sixth webinar on Thursday at 5 pm on the topic, “Shaken and stirred: the future of personal fitness”.
‘Tamil Nadu Smiling’ is aimed at bringing together the people of the State, its traders and retail organisations and government authorities to find ways to emerge from the effects of the pandemic. As a part of this initiative, the series of webinars in various formats and panning across industries will bring together key stakeholders to create awareness among consumers and the trade fraternity.

Oracle turned in Q2 numbers with total revenue up two percent year-on-year to $9.8 billion with a net income of $2.44 billion, up from a comparable $2.31 billion last year, as demand outran capacity for the firm’s Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) offering.
Cloud services and license support revenue was up 4% to $7.1 billion, but cloud license and on-premises license revenue fell 3% to $1.09 billion. Hardware was also down 3% to $844 million while services revenue fell 7% to $752 million.
