Indiana State Police on Friday announced the arrest of Andrew King, 35, of Rochester. King has been charged with reckless homicide and false informing in connection to a fatal three-vehicle crash in Miami County on May 10.
Troopers were called to the area of U.S. 31 and Miami County Road 100 North on May 10 for reports of a crash.
Investigators learned King was distracted while driving a 2016 Volvo semi northbound on U.S. 31. King failed to stop at the red light and rear-ended a Toyota Corolla driven by Sarah Wallace, 32, of South Bend, police said. Her two young children Cecilia Wallace, 2, and Leo Wallace, 6 months, were backseat passengers in the vehicle.

Washington Co. Couple Busted with 18 Pounds of Crystal Meth
WASHINGTON CO., Ind. A couple from rural Washington County is behind bars after police found nearly 20 pounds of crystal meth in their home.
Indiana State Police on Tuesday served a search warrant at a home on Pumpkin Center Road.
During the search, troopers found 18 pounds of crystal methamphetamine, marijuana, drug paraphernalia, and a large amount of cash.
The owners of the home, Raymond Collins and Deborah Mack-Collins, were arrested on numerous drug-related charges and taken to the Washington County Jail. Share
Sheriff does not know when carjacking suspect will face Huron County judge
Faces charges in Indiana, two other Michigan counties

While the suspect of a carjacking that took place last week has been apprehended, Huron County Sheriff Kelly Hanson said he doesn t know when he will return to the county to face charges.
Hanson said that in addition to Huron County, the suspect is also facing local charges in Indiana along with Mason and Muskegon counties, and that when he comes back to stand trial in Huron County has yet to be determined.
Grant Co. Mom Charged After Two-Year-Old Accidentally Shoots, Kills Himself
GRANT COUNTY, Ind. A Grant County woman faces charges following the shooting death of her two-year-old son.
Indiana State Police on Wednesday arrested 22-year-old Caci Seals, of Fairmount, for neglect of a dependent resulting in death.
Seals’ two-year-old son, Leighton Owings, accidentally shot and killed himself on Dec. 15 with a gun he found in the bedroom of his home. Seals told police she was home at the time, feeding a baby in another room.
Seals is being held in the Grant Co. Jail on a $100,000 bond. Share
