(WISH Photo, File) Posted: Apr 15, 2021 / 10:43 AM EST CROWN POINT, Ind. Former Attorney General Curtis Hill filed a civil complaint last September, accusing New Britain and its owner, Nelson Macwan of Illinois, of threatening consumers with lawsuits, arrest, garnishments and liens without having judgments against the consumers. The company was also accused of acting as a debt collection agency from Indiana without a license.

Indiana Republicans give up on election reform, strip bill

Erin Houchin, R-Salem, originally required proof of citizenship to register to vote and required risk-limiting audits be done after every election – something that’s been recommended by election integrity experts for years but has never been done in Indiana, as a way to verify the number of votes tabulated by voting machines.
