With DMK and Trinamool Congress coming to power in Tamil Nadu and West Bengal, the political strategist Prashanth Kishor is back in the headlines. Bharatiya Janatha Party (BJP) pulled out different plans to come to power in West Bengal but all the effort went in vain. Tamilnadu people are against BJP from the beginning and the fight was between the two regional parties DMK and AIADMK. But, the scenario is different n West Bengal. In a surprising statement made on Sunday on news channel NDTV, political strategist Prashant Kishor, iPac chief, said he would quit the domain of political campaigning for good and let others in the organisation take over. In fact, he had thrown a challenge in Dec 2020 that BJP cannot win over 100 seats in West Bengal and he would quit if it does.
On Sunday, when the results were streaming live the victorious tirade of Trinamool Congress under Mamata Banerjee, proving his point, the strategist took a U-turn and said he would, anyway, quit this space . He told NDTV anchor Srinivasan Jain, I want to call it quits, leave this space for good, sending viewers across the country into an instant shock.

Prashant Kishor Working in both Tamil Nadu and West Bengal during the 2021 Assembly elections, Prashant Kishor is a sought-after Indian election strategist. He came to the fore when his political campaign to help then Gujarat CM Narendra Modi was successful in the 2012 Assembly Elections. Kishor initially worked with the United Nations for eight years as he was trained in public health before entering Indian politics. After the 2014 elections, he parted roads with Modi and worked with Nitish Kumar in 2015 to help him win a third term as Bihar Chief Minister in the 2015 Assembly Elections.
