FPJ Legal: Rashmi Shukla moves Bombay High Court for protection from arrest in phone tapping case
Mumbai: Senior IPS officer Rashmi Shukla moved the Bombay High Court on Monday seeking an urgent hearing and a directive to Mumbai police not to take any coercive action against her in accordance with the FIR lodged into alleged phone tapping case. Stating that instead of applauding her work of exposing police and ministers nexus in postings she is being framed and that she apprehends her arrest in the case.

MUMBAI: Rashmi Shukla former police commissioner of state intelligence, Maharashtra, presently posted in Hyderabad, has filed a petition before the Bombay high court seeking quashing of FIR registered by the cyber crime police station, BKC, Mumbai against unknown persons, or to alternatively transfer its probe to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI).
Denying committing any offence as alleged, she said the FIR discloses “malafides and is itself a conspiracy to suppress high crimes by power politicians and interested police officers.’’

Chandigarh, April 28 : To strengthen the telecommunication infrastructure in the state as part of its focus on e-governance and e-commerce, the Punjab government has decided to regularise all telecom towers installed unauthorisedly between December 5, 2013, and December 7, 2020.
The decision was taken at Wednesday s virtual cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Amarinder Singh.
The cabinet decided to extend the scope of provisions in Section 2.0 (I) (a) of the Telecom Guidelines issued on December 7, 2020, for this purpose.
IPS officer Rashmi Shukla, who is currently on central deputation to the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), has been summoned by the Mumbai Police's cyber cell in connection with an FIR registered under the Official Secrets Act.
