ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on Kashmir Shehryar Khan Afridi on Wednesday said that by blanket shutdown and protest, the brave Kashmiri people have exposed the Indian plans aimed at misleading world opinion about the situation in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK).
Afridi expressed these views while addressing a national seminar regarding solidarity day with Kashmir at Women University Swabi. Senator Waleed Iqbal, columnist Mazhar Barlas, and Vice-Chancellor Swabi Women University Shaheena Urooj.
Afridi said that the Indian regime has arranged a staged visit today in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir but such scripted visits can never mislead the world opinion on Kashmir.

Talking on the occasion, Punjab Governor said that the bilateral ties between Pakistan and the United States were getting stronger with each passing day. The role of the United States in Pakistan s economic development and prosperity was commendable. The governor expressed hope that the US President Joe Biden would play his role in resolving the Kashmir issue.

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on Kashmir Shehryar Khan Afridi on Thursday said that the Parliament would act as a new center to push Kashmir diplomacy.
While addressing the participants of a Seminar titled “Emerging Dynamics of Kashmir Issue: Predicament and Prospects” held under the auspices of the Youth Association of Pakistan, Shehryar Afridi said that the Parliamentary Committee is engaging the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) and other relevant bodies to ensure level playing fields to Pakistani and Kashmiri activists on the digital platforms.
The days of the new US president Joe Biden are about to start. An experienced hand on South Asia, he will have a different set of challenges as compared to the time when he was the Obama vice.
