The company anticipates the market to be worth over ₹2,000 crore in next 6-12 months Door-to-door fuel delivery service provider ‘The Fuel Delivery’ on Thursday said that it has signed an all-India agreement with Indian Oil Corporation Ltd to offer doorstep delivery of diesel anywhere in India.
Under the agreement, the startup will offer “petrol pump on wheels” services through its app. Diesel will be sourced from the nearest Indian Oil depot, The Fuel Delivery said in a statement. The firm will start operations from Delhi NCR and Mumbai, with plans to expand to Chandigarh, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Chennai and Kolkata over the next twelve months, it added.

Chevron Lummus Global (CLG) announced that it has been awarded a contract by Indian Oil Corporation Ltd.s Panipat Refinery in Haryana, India. The lubricants base oil plant will employ CLGs ISOCRACKING, ISODEWAXING and ISOFINISHING technologies as part of IOCLs refinery expansion project.
CLG will provide the license, basic engineering, proprietary equipment and catalyst, along with technical services. The catalytic dewaxing unit will be designed to produce mainly premium API Group III base oils by processing unconverted oil from an upstream hydrocracking unit. The unit is expected to bring significant benefits to the region by minimizing existing dependence on imported base oils.
OMCs bet on hydrogen to tide over energy transition

To produce hydrogen molecules, stored and trade as gas: Pradhan Public-sector oil marketing companies will scale up hydrogen production and the applications of hydrogen-enriched compressed natural gas, Minister of Petroleum and Natural Gas Dharmendra Pradhan, said on Thursday.
“Presently, as in the case of other countries, our petroleum sector is the largest producer of hydrogen for various refinery process operations, Pradhan said at a virtual event titled Hydrogen Economy. “Hence, we realize the petroleum sector’s capability to produce hydrogen molecules, stored and traded as gas, making it a natural votary of this new energy form.”

With the Health Department organising sector-specific camps in different parts of the district, vaccination coverage is going up steadily.
The average daily coverage of COVID-19 vaccination was hovering around just 3,000 till a week ago. It has gone up to about 5,000 over the last few days. A total of 6,576 persons were vaccinated on Monday. The count was 6,209 on Tuesday.
