If you’re looking to feast on curry, samosas and bhajis this weekend, there are plenty of places to choose from.
And with it being a bank holiday weekend, we would not blame you in the slightest if you decided to leave the cooking utensils in teh cupboards and ordered in an Indian takeaway instead.
Gary Lokers, owner of local food truck Eli s Eats In The Streets, also tried the food Wednesday. He hadn’t had Indian food in a long time and said people can’t find options for it in the area.
“Scale of one to 10, like a seven,” Lokers said of the food, and the spices and flavor were excellent.
Lokers has also parked his food truck at Ryan’s Party Store before and the owner’s son Brian Zetouna said it’s a busy area for the trucks.
If they can help out other businesses in the community like the food trucks they will, it’s karma, you know, he said.
