Individuals older than 40 with a Certificate Degree of Indian Blood who live in southeast Oklahoma are now eligible to receive the COVID-19 vaccine through Choctaw Nation.

Choctaw Nation tribal members due COVID-19 vaccinations DURANT – With more than 400 COVID-19 vaccines already given to Choctaw Nation Health Services Authority employees, the Choctaw Nation on Monday will begin vaccinating individuals in “Phase 2,” the tribe said in a statement. People in the phase include current CNHSA patients, Certified Degree of Indian Blood cardholders, people 60 and older, those who live within Choctaw Nation jurisdiction, and CDIB cardholders who live in the same household as a Phase 2 patient. In addition to those individuals, teachers who are current CNHSA patients and CDIB cardholders will also be offered appointments for the vaccine with proof of employment (a school badge or paystub).
