The recently-released Netflix adult-comedy series Sexify has quickly secured the top spot on Pakistan’s most-watched list on the streaming giant. The Polish show follows the story of few female college students who decide to build a sex application with a focus on women’s pleasure.
With discussions on sex and sexual wellness being taboo in the country, questions of hypocrisy on the part of the majority of viewers naturally cropped up. Pakistani Twitter was quick to call out the popularity of the show during the Holy month of Ramzan.

CHENNAI: K V Anand, noted Tamil film director and cinematographer died here early on Friday due to cardiac arrest, sources close to his family said. He passed away in a hospital at 3 AM due to a cardiac arrest, he was 54 years old, Riaz K Ahmed, a film industry publicist and movie buff said.
Anand began his career as a cinematographer in Malayalam movie Thenmavin Kombath in 1994 and following a decade of work as a cinematographer he made his directorial debut in Tamil flick Kana Kanden (2005). Thenmavin Kombath bagged the National Award (Best Cinematography) for Anand.

April 29 was a dark day in Bollywood as the industry lost one of its most legendary actors Irrfan Khan. The ‘Hindi Medium’ actor had been undergoing treatment for cancer since two years and on his first death anniversary, Irrfan’s son Babil penned a heartfelt note for his ‘baba’. Sharing a candid picture of Irrfan Khan working on setting up a desk, Babil captioned it with his pure emotions. Sorely missing his father and expressing his love for Irrfan Khan, Babil wrote, “Chemo burns you from the inside, so to find joy in the simple things, like building your own table to write your own journals. There is a purity, I have not yet discovered. There is a legacy that has already been concluded by my Baba himself. A full stop. Nobody can ever replace him. Nobody will ever be able to.
