A fire department in Lunenburg county has revealed one of their members has tested positive for COVID-19.
The Italy Cross, Middlewood and District volunteer fire department confirmed the news in a Facebook Post on Tuesday night.
In the post, it explains the member is being looked after by the Nova Scotia Health Authority and is following their guidance.
The department states they are taking the situation seriously and have sanitized and deep cleaned the hall and their fire trucks.
The department has been known for hosting various community events such as jam sessions and fundraisers.
They are asking anyone with concerns about the situation to contact Nova Scotia Health.
