Benton Confirms Widespread Copper Mineralization at Far Lake IOCG Project; 3D IP Survey Identifies Large Chargeability Targets for Drilling

Benton Resources Inc. is pleased to announce that it has discovered wide zones of mineralization at the Company's Far Lake IOCG project including 0.15% Cu and 0.15 gt Ag over 60.4 m, including 0.35% Cu and 0.51 gt Ag over 15.6 m and 1.08% Cu and 1.63 gt Ag over 2.6 m in drill hole FL-20-11. Drill hole FL-20-11 is located approximately 1,800 m NW along the same structure as the Far Lake discovery zone where surface .

Benton Resources Inc : Benton Initiates Deep IP and Ground Gravity Surveys on Its Far Lake IOCG Project

(1) Thunder Bay, Ontario (Newsfile Corp. - December 22, 2020) - Benton Resources Inc. (TSXV: BEX) ( Benton or the Company ) is pleased to announce that it has engaged Abitibi Geophysics Inc. to complete a DasVision Induced Polarization (IP) and a ground gravity survey on its Far Lake Iron Oxide Copper Gold (IOCG) project located 80km west of Thunder Bay, Ontario. The DasVision, distributed array survey, is designed for deep mineral exploration, up to 1000m depth, and will include a 3D inversion of the data to allow for integration with existing exploration work. The IP and gravity surveys will encompass a 4km x 4km area, representing Benton s main exploration zone and where known Cu mineralization is concentrated. Assay results from the first phase of drilling at Far Lake (see Company news release dated November 19, 2020), and the IP/gravity survey data should be received early January 2021.
