Meijer Hopes To Administer 25,000 Vaccinations This Week Meijer announced an ambitious goal today. They are hoping to administer 25,000 Covid-19 vaccinations this week. Michigan s largest grocery chain, through its pharmacies, has been working towards this goal by setting up clinics the past few weeks in stores, and have been administering approximately 1,200 shots per day since the middle of January, but this is a major increase, to get the state s population closer to the government s goal of at least 70% of the population getting the vaccine.  Currently, the vaccines are being administered to Michiganders 65 years and older who have pre-registered through the company s vaccine registration process.
