Partnering with Tyler Junior College, Heart to Heart Hospice Foundation helps impact the future of nursing and community health

PLANO, Texas (PRWEB) January 12, 2021 As part of its commitment to educating healthcare professionals and serving communities, the Heart to Heart Hospice Foundation has made a $25,000 endowment to the nursing program at Tyler Junior College in Tyler, Texas.
The established “Heart to Heart Hospice Foundation Endowed Nursing Scholarship” will be awarded to Tyler Junior College nursing students based upon character, academic ability, and financial need.

Ronald Ball, age 78 of Forth Worth, Texas, formerly of Williamsburg, Ky., passed away Thursday, December 24, 2020 at Heart to Heart Hospice in Fort Worth, Texas. He was born August 14, 1942 in Williamsburg, Ky., to the late Floyd and Lula Bird Ball. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Curt Ball and a nephew, Bradley Morgan.
He is survived by his wife, Delia Ball of Fort Worth, Texas; one sister, Sue Morgan of Venice, Florida; and a host of relatives and friends to mourn his passing.
Funeral services will be private for immediate family. Rev. Doyle Lester will be officiating all services. Interment will be in Highland Park Cemetery Davis Addition.

Alfred John Haberer, Jr. passed from this life into his eternal rest on December 17, 2020, after an extended illness. He was a resident of Brookdale North in San Marcos, Texas.
Alfred had been in the care of Heart to Heart Hospice and in the care of his devoted caregiver, Gwen Harrington, for the past several years. He came to regard her as his daughter and her devotion to him was indeed that of a daughter.
Alfred John Haberer, Jr. was born at his grandparent’s family farm in Uhland, Texas on October 19, 1925. He was the youngest of three sons born to Alfred J. Haberer, Sr. and Lydia Schletze Haberer. He attended school in Uhland, Texas and joined the U.S. Army during WWII, taking his basic training at Ft. Bliss, El Paso, Texas. He worked for the IRS during the tax season in Austin, Texas.
