The Manteca High school junior was airlifted over the weekend to UC Davis Medical Center for a brain tumor known as astroblastoma. “He might not have much time left,” said his older brother Edwin Padilla, relaying a message from doctors on Wednesday. Eddy Padilla was diagnosed with the rare glial tumor usually located in the cerebral hemisphere of the brain – astroblastoma can occur in individuals of any age, but mostly to children and young adults – back in May while dealing with another health issue, according to school officials.
