Removal from Anderson & Leahy s Funeral Home, Newbridge to arrive at St. Brigid s Church, The Curragh at 7 o clock on Wednesday evening (20th January). Funeral Mass at 2 o clock on Thursday afternoon with burial afterwards in Carna cemetery, Suncroft. Maximum attendance at the church is currently 10 people.

Hero nurse and young dad Solson Saviour who died after Covid-19 battle was a good soul as friends devastated by loss

19 Jan 2021, 7:00 A FORMER colleague of a nurse who died from Covid-19 yesterday revealed how the sector was devastated by the loss, saying: “He was a good soul.” Solson Saviour, aged just 34, was admitted to Wexford General Hospital on Saturday due to complications he was suffering after contracting the virus. 3 3 3 He worked as a nurse in Gowran Abbey Nursing Home in Co Kilkenny On Saturday night, he talked to relatives in India over the phone but on Sunday, his condition changed dramatically and he tragically lost his battle against Coronavirus. It is not yet clear how Solson ­contracted the infection. Family friend and nurse manager in Connolly Hospital in Blanchardstown, Dublin, Vinu Kaippilly, was stunned at the news.

Kildare) January 15th., 2021 (suddenly) at Connolly Hospital, Blanchardstown. Beloved husband of Nancy and much loved father of Colin, Damien, Michael, Richard and Sarah; Gerry will be sadly missed by his loving wife, sons, daughter, grandchildren Adam, Ava, India and Esmé, daughters-in-law Sally, Amy and Nicole, brothers Colm, Paul and the late Michael, sisters Mary and Noreen, relatives and friends. May he rest in peace. A private funeral will take place due to government advice regarding public gatherings. When the current circumstances have passed we look forward to celebrating Gerard’s life with friends and extended family at a later date.
