Mr. Raymond George Landgraff, age 63 years, passed away peacefully in Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre on Sunday, February 28, 2021 with his family by his side.
Ray was born in Port Arthur on November 19, 1957 to Roy and Thelma Landgraff. He was educated locally and worked for the majority of his life as a mechanic, before finishing his last years as a truck driver. Ray met Cindy Peck and they were married on January 21, 1984. He was a dedicated husband, loving father and proud Papa. His family was his whole world and time spent together was his biggest passion. Ray enjoyed camping, fishing, skidooing and tinkering on cars as well as all animals.
Mr. Robert “Bob” Law, age 70 years, passed away peacefully in Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre on Saturday, February 13, 2021.
Bob was born in Fort Frances, Rainy River District, Ontario on July 22, 1950 to Theresa Mary and John James Law. Bob met Glenda Gurney and they were married on May 24, 1974. He started out working underground in the Inco Mines in Shebandowan before going to work at MacMillan Bloedel. In 1988, Bob started his own business, “RJ Law Millwork” and he truly enjoyed it, making many friends along the way. In 2006, Bob decided to change things up, and he started driving long-haul for Manitoulin Transport, retiring on April 1, 2020.
Stella Page, age 92, passed away peacefully at the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre on February 2, 2021. She will be remembered as a kind and loving person devoted to her family and friends. She lived an honest and spiritual life that valued grace and dignity for all.
She enjoyed her time cooking wonderful meals, watching sports, especially curling and hockey (Leafs fan), reading and focusing on her family. Thunder Bay was her home.
Born to Jesse and William Manryk (Westfort area). She was raised in her Ukrainian language and spoke fluently in her earlier days. The youngest of four children – brothers Ted, Ross and Bill. All predeceased. Raised in the great depression, she left high school in Grade 11 to attend Kings Business College.
Jan 20, 2021 10:20 AM Mrs. Dale Sandra Boyd, age 78 years of Atikokan, passed away peacefully in Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre on Sunday, January 17, 2021, with her husband Don and her son Blain by her side. Dale was born on February 16, 1942 in Sioux Lookout, Ontario.
Dale will be deeply missed by her husband Don, sons Brent and Blain (Jillian), her grandchild Alexandra and all her relatives and close friends which she had many of.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Westfort Chapel, 420 West Gore Street, Thunder Bay.
It is with great sadness that the family of Peter Skok announces his passing in Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre on Friday, December 18, 2020, at the age of 71 years.
Peter was born in Hanau, Germany on March 29, 1949. He grew up in Hamilton, Ontario. He spent many years working in the Grain Elevators and working at the Hydro Camp.
He had a passion for carpentry. He showed great love for his family and friends. He was a good family man, good friend and was loved by all.
Peter is survived by his wife Norma; sons Michael (Kelly) and Richard (Laurie); daughter Jennifer; multiple grandchildren and great grandchildren; siblings Lubba Janonovich, Zina Kusmenko, Andre, Howard (Dianne) Boyezuk; as well as numerous nieces, nephew and other relatives. He is also survived by his loving friend Marcy Berube.
