Hogan Park in Midland Will Have a $55 Million Renovation
Hogan Park is the largest park in Midland at 120 acres, and is about to get a $55 million upgrade.
According to CBS 7, the Midland Quality of Place Initiative and the City of Midland have teamed up to make the renovations happen.
The new features will include a splash pad, walking paths, a place for food trucks, and improved sports fields to draw more tournaments to the area.
“It’s anticipated that there could be up to a million visitors per year to a developed Hogan Park. Those people will be coming in shopping in Midland, staying in Midland, and it will really be a shot in the arm for economic activity as well as everyday Midlanders who just want somewhere to enjoy,” said Sara Harris, Executive Director of the Midland Quality of Place Initiative.
