DUNWOODY, Ga. â Dunwoodyâs small business relief grant made all the difference to Rob Sayer, owner and founder of The Music Class.
âI was thrilled to get the funding,â Sayer said âWe are a small, family-owned business and paying retail rent is expensive, so it really made a big difference for us.â

Founded in 1995, The Music Class provides young students and teachers personal instruction to foster their musical skills.
Dunwoody has allocated roughly $2 million in relief funds to just shy of 100 small businesses since applications opened in December, Economic Development Director Michael Starling said.

The Real Reason Minnesota Kids Were Taught to Play the Recorder
Think back to elementary school music class. You were learning basic notes, singing songs, and then one year every kid in the class was handed a plastic recorder and you all learned Hot Cross Buns . And then our poor parents had to sit through an ear-piercing spring concert of us showing off our sick recorder skills. I just winced typing that sentence.
Why was that required learning?! What was the education system preparing us for by teaching us to play those spit-filled plastic tubes?
