Singer Shaan is set to
accompany 30 musicians including Shreya Ghoshal, Armaan Malik, Raftaar, and Sachin-Jigar, among others in MTV’s World Music Day concert, Lift Up, which will see artistes perform their favourite songs, and share anecdotes on tracks that helped lift their spirits during the pandemic.
“In keeping with the occasion, I will include songs with world music influence. Today, we have access to different kinds of music. If I want to know what kind of music is heard in Morocco or Romania, I can access it; that is exciting. Also, listeners have opened up their minds to different genres,” he says.
