Sam Haiby scored 12 of her game-high 22 points in the fourth quarter to rally Nebraska from a fourth-quarter deficit to claim a hard-fought 57-53 women’s basketball win at Illinois on Monday night at the State Farm Center.
Haiby tied her career high with three three-pointers but it was her steal on an Illini inbounds pass with 10 seconds left and then her two free throws with 5.4 seconds left that secured Nebraska’s eighth win of the season to improve to 6-4 in the Big Ten. Nebraska (8-5) also completed a season sweep of Illinois, which slipped to 2-8 overall and 0-7 in the conference.

Husker women fall to Minnesota, 76-71
The Huskers (7-5, 5-4 Big Ten) went just 3-of-21 from the field in the fourth quarter, allowing Minnesota (3-7, 2-6) to hang on for the victory.

Nebraska Athletics) Nebraska went cold late in the second half and Minnesota connected on a season-high 15 three-pointers as the Husker women’s basketball team dropped a 76-71 decision to the visiting Golden Gophers on Tuesday afternoon at Pinnacle Bank Arena.
Sam Haiby led Nebraska with her third consecutive double-double by scoring a game-high 25 points to go along with a career-high-tying 12 rebounds, but it was not enough to prevent the Huskers from suffering their first home loss of the season. NU dropped to 7-5 overall and 5-4 in the Big Ten, while Minnesota improved to 3-7 and 2-6 in the conference.
