CHILDREN S charities will receive an early Christmas this year following donations by kind-hearted councillors in the Highlands.
An annual collection held by members of Highland Council for chamber staff will this year be donated to children s charities in light of the challenges faced by many families as a result of the coronavirus pandemic , the local authority has announced.
Members have this year raised £770 following their collection, which is to be split between the Archie Foundation and MFR s Cash for Kids Mission Christmas Appeal.
