India’s COVID-19 cases rose to 1,11,24,527 with 12,286 new infections being reported in a day, while the recoveries have surged to 1,07,98,921, according to data updated by the Union Health Ministry on March 2.

Government clarifies there is no app for signing up
Twenty-five lakh potential beneficiaries had registered on the Co-Win portal on Monday, the first day of the second phase of COVID vaccination covering those over 60 and people with specified co-morbidities, over the age of 45, the Union Health Ministry said.
