Prime Minister Imran Khan Tuesday said that societies are shaped by rule of law with prevalent moral values and ethics, whereas justice was the criterion which ‘differentiated between a civilized society and a banana republic’.
Addressing a book launching ceremony of analyst, writer and researcher Ikram Sehgal titled ‘A personal chronicle of Pakistan’, the prime minister said that a society rose when governed by equal sets of law for the privileged and the poor classes. “The human society is shaped by rule of law,” he said, adding contrary to it, the past ruling elite in Pakistan had plundered the country.

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan Tuesday said he challenged Nawaz Sharif and Asif Zardari on their corruption and formed a separate party.
Addressing the launch of defence analyst Ikram Sehgal s book A Personal Chronicle of Pakistan , he said that Nawaz Sharif was fond of cricket and by chance he became the prime minister. The prime minister said the real struggle of Pakistan is justice, this is the biggest jihad and when he wakes up in the morning he doesn’t think that he was going to work, he things that he was fighting jihad.
The prime minister recalled that when he came into politics, he did not know anything about Pakistan s politics, but he came into politics in the same way, while both the PPP and PMLN offered him to join them.

The prime minister said Pakistan needs a real struggle for ‘justice’, which is the biggest jihad and said they were creating awareness among the masses against corruption, which is ‘the biggest cancer’. He said in developed countries, society fought the evils on its own and the corrupt elements were ostracized. Imran Khan said he came to politics to fight and wage struggle against social evils.
