California Classic Summer League Game Highlights: Heat 80, Lakers 78
Omer Yurtseven scored a game-high 27 points to lead the Miami Heat to an 80-78 victory over the Los Angeles Lakers in the California Classic Summer League on Tuesday at Golden 1 Center.
Yurtseven had a great performance, shooting 11-for-20 from the field, including 3-for-7 from long range, while hauling in 19 rebounds in 32 minutes of action. The Heat had four other players score in double-digits, as Dru Smith and D.J. Stewart Jr. added 11 points each. Marcus Garrett and Javonte Smart chipped in 10 points a piece.

The Los Angeles Lakers kept adding to their free-agent haul Tuesday, agreeing to deals with forward Carmelo Anthony and guard Malik Monk (Bentonville).
Anthony s agent, Aaron Mintz, confirmed that Anthony will join the Lakers.
Anthony and Lakers star LeBron James are longtime friends and have wanted to be teammates, but their illustrious career paths never crossed.
Now they get their chance after Anthony agreed to a one-year deal with the Lakers. The contract can t be signed until the NBA s new business year opens Friday at 2:01 p.m. Central. Until then, teams and players can only agree to terms.
