I don’t mind telling you that this has been a week I’ve been dreading for a while.
This is the week that the Midland Reporter-Telegram went from a seven-day-a-week newspaper to a five-day-a-week paper, and the record will show that I was the editor when it happened. So much for legacy- building, right?
The fact is, the Midland Reporter-Telegram has been through serious changes in the past few years. We have stopped our own presses and shipped that responsibility to Lubbock. That was the day our heartbeat stopped – something I can relate to.
