Here’s When the Canadian-U.S. Border Is Expected to Reopen for Non-Essential Travel
Since the pandemic began in March of 2020 (here in North America), one of the biggest questions both Americans and Canadians have been wondering is when the Canadian-U.S. border would reopen to nonessential travel. The border has been closed to nonessential travel since the third week of March of last year.
However, after many Americans have been fully vaccinated and many Canadians have received at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine, it appears there finally may be an end in sight.
According to Ashley Rowe of WKBW, Canada’s Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said that Canada is currently on track to allow fully vaccinated travelers from all countries to enter Canada by early September.
