BATON ROUGE - On Monday (Jan. 11) morning, a crash on I-12 West near the O Neal lane exit resulted in lane blockage and severe congestion, according to WBRZ s traffic reporting program, Total Traffic
Authorities say the crash, which was reported around 7:30 a.m., involved an 18-wheeler and a passenger vehicle.
The crash site was cleared as of 9 a.m.

BATON ROUGE - According to Total Traffic and Weather Network, a crash on I-10 East between the Siegen Lane and Highland Road exits occurred early Friday (Jan. 8) morning.
The wreck, which was initially reported by Total Traffic around 6 a.m., is said to involve an East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff s Unit and reportedly left one person hurt. Officials say this individual was taken to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
At this time, few details related to the crash itself are available, and WBRZ has reached out to the Sheriff s Office for additional information.

BATON ROUGE - Early Monday (Dec. 28) morning, a pedestrian sustained injuries after being hit by a vehicle along Picardy at I-10, near the Mall of Louisiana.
The incident was reported shortly before 6:30 a.m., and Baton Rouge Police told WBRZ the injured pedestrian was taken to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Police add that the crash is currently under investigation, and additional information may be forthcoming.

WALKER- On Monday (Dec. 28) morning, early morning traffic on I-12 West at Walker South Road/Highway 447 was slightly disrupted following a police pursuit that ended in Livingston Parish.
The overnight chase reportedly began in Mandeville and ended on I-12 W at the Walker exit when state police deployed spikes to halt the driver of a pump truck that had a hose dragging on the road, causing sparks.
Officials say the trouble started in Mandeville when police tried to pull the driver over, and he kept right on going.
