The owner of Asher Kings and Queens Restaurant in Kaduna state, Aisha Mercy Yakubu, whose restaurant was demolished following allegations that it was going to serve as venue to host a sex party has vowed to seek legal redress.
According to a statement made available to journalists, she stressed that her business premises was registered at the Corporate Affairs Commission, CAC, as a restaurant and an event centre and not as a hotel, to the extent of hosting a sex party.
The Street Journal had earlier reported that the police in Kaduna clamped down on suspected organizers of a sex party and the restaurant in question was subsequently demolished by the State Urban Planning and Development Authority, KASUPDA, for allegedly planning to host the event.
Contrary to the to the reason given for the demolition of Asher Kings and Queens Restaurant in Kaduna state, the Chief Executive Officer of the restaurant, Aisha Mercy Yakubu has denied plans to hold a sex party.
The Kaduna State Government demolished the facility after a flyer had circulated on social media stating that a sex party would hold at the restaurant.
The advertised sex party was scheduled to hold on Sunday, 27, 2020.
But in a statement on Sunday, January 3, 2020, Yakubu said the demolished facility was neither a hotel nor a guest house as claimed by the Police and the State Government.

Contrary to the claims of the Kaduna government that it demolished a hotel because of a proposed sex party that it will host, the owner of the Asher Kings and Queen building, Aisha Mercy Yakubu has said the place is a restaurant and not a hotel.
Recall that the Kaduna State Urban Planning and Development Authority, KASUPDA had demolished the facility after a flyer circulating on social media said it would host a sex party on December 27, 2020.
Reacting to the demolition of the structure through a Saturday statement, Mrs Yakubu said the place was a restaurant and not a hotel or guest house as claimed by the government.
