As Israel continues to battle the continued spread of coronavirus, the country on Saturday surpassed over 10,000 active cases.
With 11,390 active patients, 190 are currently hospitalized, with 97 in serious condition, out of which 17 are connected to ventilators.

The Health Ministry reported that nearly 2,399 new infections have been diagnosed over the weekend, putting the infection rate currently standing at 1.79%.
The death toll since the start of the pandemic rose to 6,459.
