PG: Psycho Goreman - Movie Review - The Austin Chronicle

First law of nerdy film: If you invoke the name of the Gygax in your retro throwback practical effects fest, you A) better deliver and B) will automatically win credibility points with the kind of weirdos and wackos who want to spend Friday night guzzling pizza and beer while watching a retro throwback practical effects fest. Or, if you re Mimi (Hanna) and Luke (Myre) it would probably be pizza and something equal parts CO2, Aspartame, and food coloring while sneaking downstairs to watch a late-night cable access horror show while beaming throw pillows at each other s heads, zipper side first.

Newmarket, Ont store ordered to close after openly flouting rules prohibiting in-person shopping

TORONTO York Region s medical officer of health has ordered the closure of a Newmarket business after it openly flouted public health rules prohibiting stores from offering in-person shopping. The order, issued under Section 22 of the Health Protection and Promotion Act, alleges that Point of Light, Body, Mind, Spirit Store and Centre on Yonge Street south of Mulock Drive allowed shoppers inside the business on at least three separate occasions in recent weeks and that in each of those instances the operators were found to not be wearing masks or face coverings while serving customers. Medical Officer of Health Dr. Karim Kurji said in the order that the operators of the business were first charged with violating the Reopening Ontario Act on Dec. 23, at which time they vowed to remain open for in-person shopping in direct contravention of public health restrictions.

The musician’s family said: “We know that his many friends and countless fans around the world will share in our grief as we mourn his loss, but celebrate the extraordinary talent of the man whose songs meant so much to so many.”

After a tough year, here s 21 good things to look forward to in 2021

7. Holidays: One of the most exciting moments of the year will be boarding a plane once again. We may first need a Covid-19 vaccine to travel to some destinations, including the US, but we all dream of being back in the air, on our way to sunnier climes. 8. Nightclubs: Nightclubs like Coppers in Dublin will one day throw their doors open again and welcome social butterflies looking to cut a rug to dancefloor favourite Las Vegas (In the Hills of Donegal) by Goats Don’t Shave. 9. Dating: We’re set to return to a spot of good old-fashioned romance. But if Covid-19 has taught us anything, it’s that we perhaps need to be very selective about those we allow into our trusted circles. Surely Mr or Ms Right is waiting in 2021?
