NEW ORLEANS (press release) – In a joint news conference today, Allstate Sugar Bowl Crescent City Classic and YMCA of Greater New Orleans officials announced they are teaming up for a brand new, exciting combination of the CCC Fall Classic and YMCA Corporate Cup into the “Allstate Sugar Bowl Corporate Classic.” The newly combined 3.1-mile race will premier as an in-person event on Saturday, November 13 in City Park.
Originally started in 1960, the YMCA Corporate Cup benefitted adult literacy courses and initiatives throughout the New Orleans Area. The Crescent City Fall Classic began in 1986 with a focus on education initiatives in New Orleans. The inaugural Corporate Classic will continue to benefit the YMCA Educational Services (YES) Adult Literacy Program.

NEW ORLEANS (press release) – With the 43rd annual Allstate Sugar Bowl Crescent City Classic less than one month away, race officials with the Crescent City Fitness Foundation announced an unprecedented goal of raising $1 million for local nonprofits at this year’s momentous virtual 10k challenge.
The Crescent City Fitness Foundation also announced the long list of local nonprofits it is supporting and partnering with for this year’s Allstate Sugar Bowl Crescent City Classic, the Gulf South’s oldest and largest road race. The participating nonprofits are:

NEW ORLEANS (press release) – Allstate Sugar Bowl Crescent City Classic officials have released the official poster for 2021 featuring a realistic painting from locally renowned artist Terry Marks. The 2021 poster features City Park’s picturesque Peristyle reflecting on a pool of water during a sunset.
Marks drew inspiration for the painting and poster from the scenic beauty of City Park and New Orleans, and he used both as inspiration for his take on the highly anticipated annual CCC poster.
“A photographer friend of mine took this image of the Peristyle at sunset and I knew immediately it was the image I wanted to incorporate into my poster design,” said Marks. “Ever since I became an artist most of my subject matter involves local themes, I love capturing the beauty of our city.”
