Plenty of automakers are proposing electric trucks as part of their repertoire, but we still haven’t really seen anyone put one into production yet. That said, I’m kind of digging the Alpha Motor Corporation’s Wolf pickup truck. Which is definitely still a concept and for which Alpha is actually taking pre-orders. But I think it’s the best example of a good-looking, functional electric truck that we’ve seen so far, which is exactly what I’m here for.

The first time we took notice of California-based electromobility startup Alpha Motor Inc. was last December, when the company unveiled the small ACE Coupe as a no-frills urban electric vehicle designed to “
transform zero emission mobility.” We’ve watched with increasing interest after that as the company didn’t disappear into the mist, and followed up with a performance version and a crossover derivative. Now it s time for a light pickup truck. 39 photos
Using the company’s proprietary
skateboard electric vehicle architecture, they’re all based on the same platform hence the ACE nameplate that adorns the tailgate of the Alpha WOLF (neat name, right?) fully electric pickup truck.
If vintage cars, or cars with a classic aesthetic grab you, Irvine, California startup Alpha Motor is dishing out the Alpha Motor ACE. This ride features an older European sportscar stance, and is an all electric option for those not locked into a major brand, and are not looking to empty out their account to get one.
The two-seater Alpha Motor ACE electric car is expected to have a range of 250+ miles, and go from 0-60 miles per hour in 6 seconds. In addition to that, Alpha Motor has given the petite ride 14 cubic feet of storage room.
Alpha Motor has big plans for the ACE that is looking at a target price of no more than $39,000 per car. For those looking to try a new entry into the car market, while saving money during and after purchase, this is the one for you. To learn more about the company bringing the ACE to market, visit Alpha Motor Incorporated online, and see the ride in the following gallery.
