INDIAN Sikhs who had planned a car rally in Glasgow in support of farmers in India protesting about changes to agricultural laws say it will now be a socially-distanced standing demonstration at one of their temples. Drivers in more than 100 cars had planned to congregate at the city’s four Sikh temples then drive through Glasgow tomorrow. Jasneet Sangha, one of the organisers, told The National that she had been advised by police that under Covid regulations the car rally could not be go ahead. Glasgow came down from Level 4 lockdown to Level 3 yesterday. However, she said they agreed to a socially-distanced gathering within the grounds of the Albert Drive Temple.
