New Buckeye Lake pavilion may serve as site for concerts, events

Newark Advocate BUCKEYE LAKE - Buckeye Lake leaders hope the construction of a new pavilion can be used to host concerts and community events in the coming years. Located beside the village-owned water tower on Mill Dam Road, construction began on the 25 by 50 foot pavilion last week and was expected to be completed early this week. According to Buckeye Lake Mayor Peggy Wells, the project was several years in the making, taking four to five years of planning. She explained years ago, money was designated for streetscape projects in the Millersport and Buckeye Lake areas due to the downtown in the economy surrounding the lake.

Des Moines County Engineer Brian Carter lays out county roads plans

In year five, the county generally can put any projects that need to be considered in the following years on their radar.
