England action: Mark Wilson will face Scotland (photo: PA) Cumbrian star Mark Wilson has been recalled by England to start in their Six Nations opener against Scotland. The Newcastle Falcons flanker, who started his career with Penrith, has been named in the side by head coach Eddie Jones for the Calcutta Cup clash at Twickenham. It will see Wilson, 31, win his 20th cap as England bid to get their campaign off to a winning start on Saturday (kick-off 4.45pm). Wilson, from Kendal, returns at blindside flanker, capping his return from injury which hindered him in the last year. He comes in for the injured Sam Underhill for a game which marks the 150th anniversary of the famous fixture.

Rookie centres Ollie Lawrence and Cameron Redpath will start for England and Scotland respectively in Saturday s Calcutta Cup clash at Twickenham.
Lawrence, 21, made his debut as England sealed a 2020 Six Nations title against Italy and has earned two caps since.
His inclusion means captain Owen Farrell starts at 10, with George Ford on the bench.
