According to police, 37-year-old
Rev. Allen Henderson, outside the
St. Paul Lutheran Church in
Fort Dodge, Iowa. The attack happened after the 64-year-old pastor attempted to stop Pendleton from entering the church. Pendleton claimed that he heard a girl screaming inside the church and believed that Henderson was assaulting her.
Henderson was found to be unresponsive outside the entrance of the church.

The Dakota County Health Department announced plans for a public vaccination clinic in South Sioux City tomorrow. The clinic is scheduled for 2 to 6 p.m. at El Ranchito on Cornhusker Drive. DAVENPORT An Iowa man was convicted Tuesday of fatally beating a pastor outside of his church.
Joshua Pendleton, 37, was convicted of first-degree murder and robbery in the October 2019 killing of the Rev. Allen Henderson in Fort Dodge, a city of about 25,000 roughly 70 miles (112 kilometers) north of Des Moines. He is scheduled to be sentenced June 18 and faces a mandatory term of life in prison without the possibility of parole.
