The COVID-19 vaccination site at Tower Mall will operate for another five weeks before closing on June 29. The site will continue to offer first and second doses of Pfizer vaccine through the last day of operations.
Anyone who receives a first dose at Tower Mall through June 8 will be able to return to the site three weeks later to receive a second dose. Those who receive a first dose after June 8 can go to a local Safeway or Albertsons pharmacy, or another local pharmacy or medical office offering Pfizer vaccine, to receive a second dose. Safeway and Albertsons pharmacies are now offering walk-in COVID-19 vaccinations.
With roughly half of all Americans at least partially vaccinated against COVID-19, the U.S. is beginning to reap the benefits of its inoculation campaign.
