WALL: Cllr Sharon Taylor is concerned about Malvern Stone walls CRUMBLING stone walls in Malvern could be a danger to pedestrians and drivers, a councillor has warned. Cllr Sharon Taylor said the recent heatwave had caused some of the town s Malvern Stone walls to crumble. She said: “Malvern’s stone walls are crumbling in the extreme summer heatwave. All over the town there are walls which need urgent repair before they block footpaths and roads. In the past few days, local residents have contacted me about several large Malvern stone blocks which have crashed out of the wall in Laburnum Walk at the bottom of Grafton Close.
