Britney Spears ex-husband had another run in with the law. Jason Allen Alexander, who was married to the Toxic hitmaker for just 55 hours back in 2004, was slapped with three misdemeanor charges after hhe got arrested on January 26 in Nashville, Tennessee for driving under the influence.
The 39-year-old was booked for driving while intoxicated, unlawful use of drug paraphernalia and possession or casual exchange of a controlled substance. Said to be violating Tennessee s implied consent law by refusing to do a blood alcohol content test, he was held on a $2,500 bond, but was released from jail on the same day. Police say the unnamed male died in a self-inflicted shooting in Richmond.

A man police say may have been behind the wheel of a car a Gardiner police officer was pursuing before the cruiser crashed, was later found deceased after what police believe was a self-inflicted shooting in Richmond.
Richmond Police declined to discuss details of the incident or release the identity of the male involved Monday because the incident is still under investigation. However Sgt. Chris Giles confirmed that Richmond Police did locate the suspect Gardiner police had sought earlier.
Gardiner Officer Crashes into Tree While Chasing Speeding Suspect
According to the Kennebec Journal, Gardiner Police Officer, Allen Alexander, crashed his cruiser into a tree while he was chasing a speeding suspect on Friday night.
The accident occurred at approximately 7:30 on Friday as Officer Alexander was attempting to stop a vehicle that was speeding on Weeks Road. While attempting to catch the vehicle, the officer s cruiser left the roadway striking the tree.
In a statement by Gardiner Police Chief, Jim Toman, “The vehicle that Officer Alexander was attempting to catch up to was subsequently located in the town of Richmond.
