Emergency services in Clarkfield in Mill End on Sunday afternoon. Credit: UGC A person was rescued from a bungalow fire yesterday afternoon. The emergency services responded to a fire at a property in Clarkfield in Mill End at around 4.30pm (Sunday June 6). Hertfordshire Fire & Rescue sent at least five crews to the scene and reported that they rescued one person. They were later taken to hospital by the East of England Ambulance Service. Firefighters put out the fire by 7pm. Crews from Rickmansworth, Watford, Garston, Kings Langley, and Borehamwood attended. Terrell Hoyte, who co-organised the Black Lives Matter protests in Rickmansworth last summer, has shared his thoughts after he learned about graffiti that appeared in a neighbourhood this month. Graffiti has been daubed over buildings in and around Prestwick Road in South Oxhey including White Pride and the letters BNP , which has been presumed by a local county councillor to stand for the British National Party.
