DPS Troopers will be looking for drivers who are speeding, driving while intoxicated or not wearing their seat belts. “We understand it’s a holiday weekend, people want to celebrate. We’re asking you to celebrate safely, and you know, plan ahead before you begin celebrating. That way, you get home safely,” says DPS Sgt. Orlando Moreno.

Los tres exmilitares chilenos estaban implicados por su relación con las desapariciones de italianos durante el Plan Cóndor en América Latina en las décadas de 1970 y 1980, según reflejan medios internacionales.

Desde Roma La justicia italiana confirmó la condena a cadena perpetua de tres militares chilenos por el asesinato de dos ciudadanos ítalo-chilenos  Juan José Montiglio y  Omar Venturelli, y ya envió el pedido al gobierno chileno para que los tres sean arrestados provisoriamente en espera del pedido de extradición que podría llegar en los próximos meses.
