May 26—BURLINGTON — Several Skagit County high school boys' wrestling teams had good nights on the school's tennis courts Wednesday, holding a double-dual meet outside Burlington-Edison High School. Barrington resident Jim Sincox always wanted a boat to take out on area waterways, but his wife, Liz, was wary of the costs and time commitment of a vessel s upkeep and winter storage.
When they joined the Barrington Boat Club a few years ago, however, they received what Jim Sincox called the best of both worlds.
The boat club business model, which rapidly expanded into McHenry County as interest in boating surged amid the COVID-19 pandemic, offers members the chance to take out one of a fleet of boats whenever they would like, while the club staff handles the maintenance, cleaning, repair and storage of the vehicles.

Saint Viator High School students Camille Martinez and Anthony Pluta received perfect scores on their ACT exams, something only one-tenth of one percent of students achieve. These two most recent perfect scores bring the total number of juniors who scored a 36 on this year s ACT to four - Michael Schumacher and Christopher Rapala did so earlier this year. It s a testament to our school, teachers, and rigorous curriculum that our students are performing so well on their ACTs, said Saint Viator Principal Karen Love. WEST POINT, N.Y. - Cadet Prakash D. Nigam, son of Subhash and Tammy Nigam of Palatine, Illinois, graduated from the U.S. Military Academy on Saturday, May 22.
Nigam graduated from Palatine High School in 2017. While at West Point, he concentrated his studies in chemical engineering. He was commissioned as a second lieutenant in the U.S. Army within the Infantry branch and will report to Fort Benning, Georgia, for his first assignment.
The mission of the U.S. Military Academy is to educate, train, and inspire the Corps of Cadets so that each graduate is a commissioned leader of character committed to the values of Duty, Honor, Country and prepared for a career of professional excellence and service to the Nation as an officer in the United States Army.
