Get ready to stretch those lockdown legs – we’ve rounded up some of our favourite gardens with cafés that are opening up again. They are blooming and ready to welcome you with open arms.

Helmsley Walled Garden
Helmsley Walled Garden, along with The Vine House Café, is now open. The owners have been busy renovating and developing parts of the garden. The Iris Border is looking sumptuous and the Clematis Garden has been completely renovated. The Vine House Café will be open to enjoy light snacks, seasonal lunches or homemade cakes and coffee. NOW lockdown has eased some National Trust attractions in Worcestershire have reopened for walks. Croome Court outdoor spaces are open, but visitors need to book in advance, otherwise they will be turned away. Indoor spaces remain closed. Meanwhile Bredon Barn and Ashleworth Tithe Barn are open for walks. But The Firs, which is the birthplace of Elgar, and Greyfriars’ House and Garden remain closed. A National Trust spokesman said: “Our gardens, parks and countryside sites are open for you to explore. Some places may be very busy over Easter, so we strongly advise you book your visit in advance and follow government guidance on travel.
