Say hello to the 2021 Toyota Hilux Arctic Trucks 35 (AT35). This special pick-up truck is a legitimate conversion job by Arctic Trucks made for extreme off-roading, and the donor vehicle is the Invincible X Double Cab variant that’s sold in the UK.
Now, the Hilux AT35 gets an extensive chassis upgrade, and modifications have also been done to the suspension and styling. Key upgrade elements include adjustable anti-roll bars, uprated Bilstein dampers and new suspension springs. The front and rear differentials also have new gearing, potentially making it easier to drive off-road.
These upgrades increase the Hilux’s ground clearance by 65 mm, improving its approach and departure angles by nine degrees and three degrees respectively. The inner wheel arches have been reshaped to fit the 17-inch Arctic Trucks alloys, shod with chunky 35-inch BFGoodrich KO2 All-Terrain tyres.
The Ford Ranger Raptor rival Toyota won t build: HiLux AT35 by Arctic Trucks takes dual-cab ute to next level of off-road capability

Toyota finally has a proper Ford Ranger Raptor rival, except it doesn’t build the dual-cab ute. Instead, it’s off-road specialist Arctic Trucks that’s taken the HiLux and given it the next-level AT35 treatment.
While Arctic Trucks itself converts the UK-market HiLux’s Invincible X flagship into the AT35, it’s Toyota’s local dealer network that’s responsible for selling it for a £22,536 ($A40,328) premium.
That’s a lot of coin, but you do get plenty in return, with the AT35 upgrading to lifted suspension (front: +40mm/rear: +20mm) with Bilstein performance dampers as well as 17-inch ET-25 Arctic Trucks alloy wheels with 315/70 BF Goodrich KO2 all-terrain tyres.
2021 Toyota Hilux AT35 Unveiled With Major Off-Road Upgrades
Arctic Trucks has officially unveiled the Toyota Hilux AT35 pickup truck, with plenty of off-road upgrades over the regular Hilux
Toyota first introduced the Hilux pickup back in 1968, and the vehicle has been in production ever since. In 2015, the current (eighth) generation model was introduced, and last year, the Japanese car giant gave it a facelift. Now, Iceland-based Arctic Trucks has unveiled an off-road-spec version of new Hilux for the European market.
Arctic Trucks was founded in 1990 as an extension of Toyota Iceland. The company specialised in offering off-road mods for vehicles, to make it easier to tackle the snowy terrains of the country. The company quickly grew, and in 2005, it separated from Toyota Iceland and began working with other brands as well. Arctic Trucks currently has operations in Europe, UK, Russia, and even UAE. The company was also responsible for the Toyota Hilux used in the 2007 Top Gear

Toyota has revealed a fantastic truck that is not available in the United States called the Toyota Hilux AT35. The truck is based on the newly launched 2.8-liter Invincible X Double Cab. It’s fitted with extensive chassis, suspension, handling, and styling upgrades to deliver improved off-road capability and looks.
The AT in the name of the truck stands for Arctic Trucks, a company that has been building vehicles for Arctic expeditions for 30 years. Toyota’s Hilux AT35 benefits from new and updated features, including changes increasing the ground clearance by 65 millimeters and its approach and departure angles by +9 and +3 degrees respectively.
