Nah. We will continue rag Arkansas Attorney General Leslie Rutledge for setting a bad example when she fails to wear a mask at public events. And we’ll continue to insist that Gov. Asa Hutchinson, the titular head of Arkansas Republicans, put his foot down and call out Rutledge and other anti-maskers about this. As for giving up our Rutledge campaign, we spent a good deal of time Wednesday contemplating a call for Rutledge to resign. The mask business is simply the comic relief of the state’s dad being unable to discipline the petulant child in the family. The serious business? First, there’s this nonsense of Rutledge joining with other Republican state AGs to ask the U.S. Supreme Court to invalidate the Electoral College votes of certain battleground states. This effort is being led by Texas AG Ken Paxton, who is trying to beat off a federal bribery investigation – not exactly the person Rutledge or anyone else should choose as a companion in the fight up this
