Provided by the Foltz family 8 people are facing charges connected to the death of a Bowling Green State University student. Stone Foltz died on March 7 after being provided with large amounts of alcohol, officials said. Charges range from manslaughter and hazing to failure to comply with underage drinking laws. Six of the eight are facing felony involuntary manslaughter charges in Foltz s death.

© Screenshot Via WTOL11 Youtube An Ohio jury has indicted eight Bowling Green State University students over the hazing death of 20-year-old student Stone Foltz. WJW reported Thursday that Jacob Krinn, Daylen Dunson, Troy Henricksen, Canyon Caldwell, Niall Sweeney, Jarrett Prizel, Aaron Lehane and Benjamin Boyers have been charged in connection with Foltz s death. Six of the men were charged with third degree involuntary manslaughter, while Krinn was also charged with first degree involuntary manslaughter.  Lehane and Boyers were charged with failure to comply with underage alcohol laws, but were not charged with manslaughter. ADVERTISEMENT Third degree manslaughter charges carry a maximum three year penalty while first degree manslaughter charges carry a maximum penalty of 11 years.

More    Some of the alcohol-related offenses involve providing alcohol to underage persons, while others reference permitting that activity at their residence.  The multiple counts of hazing and failure to comply with underage alcohol laws reflect the allegation that those defendants participated in providing copious amounts of alcohol to Foltz and the other new members, the Wood County Prosecutor s Office said.  First-degree manslaughter alleges that the defendant caused a death by committing or attempting to commit a felony and carries a maximum penalty of 11 years in prison.
