Tributes have been paid to a well-known Limavady solicitor who passed away suddenly on January 20.
David Brewster (56) was a familiar figure in his home town where his legal business had been located for many years.
Fellow solicitor Peter Jack, on behalf of The Limavady Solicitors’ Association, said Mr Brewster’s presence will be missed.
He said: “We are deeply sadden by the announcement of the premature passing of our esteemed colleague, David Robert Brewster.
“David was a solo practitioner yet he was able to act for his clients in all matters including conveyancing and probate, litigation, interviews in police stations, petty sessions, crown court, matrimonial courts and so on. David provided a full range of services for his clients who will badly miss is expertise and professionalism and hard work.

Mr Callan yesterday insisted the republican party was ignoring the fact the event in previous years had contributed millions to the local economy.
“Sinn Fein have acknowledged this project is supported by a majority of councillors yet they continue to waste ratepayers’ money challenging every decision they don’t agree with,” he said.
“Whilst our tourism strategy is not yet complete, there is already acknowledgement of the need for a significant regional event.
“The air show previously has brought in £2.5m of economic benefit for the wider region and attracted 200,000 people the last time it was staged.”

Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council have voted to press ahead with plans to hold an air show in 2022, despite opposition from some nationalist councillors.
The motion, proposed by Limavady councillor Aaron Callan, will see the council develop an International Causeway Airshow to mark the Queen s Platinum Jubilee next year.
Cllr Callan said it would also mark 30 years since the original air show in Portrush.
“We are looking to reinvigorate and take this air show in a new direction,” he told the council.
