Bill introduced to sponsor health care degrees for Guam students

Students from Guam, who want to pursue a career in the healthcare field, may soon be able to get sponsorships from GovGuam and private businesses.
Vice Speaker Tina Muña Barnes introduced a bill on Wednesday to facilitate the Professional Student Exchange Program. The program is hosted by the Western Interstate Commission for Higher Education and allows students access to 130 programs at 60 stateside universities. Ten health fields are included for students to pursue a degree in, ranging from medicine and dentistry to veterinary medicine.
